We are seeking for a highly motivated and confident individual to join our Technology Transformation team.
We are looking for Cloud Architect to join our Technology Transformation Team, focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.
You will work with technologists and business specialists, blending EY’s deep industry knowledge and innovative ideas with our platforms, capabilities, and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
Act as a link between project stakeholders, technical managers, IT specialists and developers who built the IT system.
Help Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers in identifying key technical risks, propose mitigation plans, with cost models and effort estimates.
Design architectures and provide solutions to existing problems or business cases with understanding an impact on the existing landscape, costs, and resources.
Provides technical expertise to maximize value from new and existing IT products and solutions in cloud, multi-cloud, hybrid cloud solutions
Explain complex IT architecture solutions in “plain text” language to the audience with a various understanding of Information Technology background. (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
Interpret the organization's strategic objectives and transform them into tactical and operational objectives;
Analyze client’s technological transformation and engineering improvement opportunities and provide relevant and practical solutions to address those needs;
Team with various EY groups with digital and cloud capabilities to pursue and deliver end-to-end digital engagements and enable solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.
Lead transformation programmes that deliver Cloud solutions & strategies by translating complex business problems into robust cloud solutions driving innovation powered by cloud
Develop & design roadmaps, implement strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud;
Contribute to proposals and client presentations for complex IT delivery projects;
Identify and characterize technological transformation initiatives, as well as prioritizing them, taking into account any dependencies;
Be aware of the best practices and market trends regarding the various components of a technological architecture;
Build relationships and trust, leverage our alliance partnerships to develop proof of concepts and make recommendations on best practice cloud architectures and tooling including on re-platforming or re-architecting applications and development of DevOps capabilities;
Act as a mentor and coach to the junior members of the team and leading by example;
Actively contribute to EY’s Technology Transformation;
Understand all our consulting service offerings and Alliance partnerships;
Actively identify opportunities to better serve clients and be able to build meaningful external relationships with our clients and internal relationships across service lines.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Academic education in Engineering, Informatics, Management or similar fields of study;
At least ´+8 years of professional consulting experience in defining Strategic Plans/Directors of Information Systems/Information Technologies or redefinition of Technological Architectures with medium/high complexity;
8+ years applied experience in IT
2+ years working in an Architect role
Designing, building and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
Deep understanding of Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, other “capabilities” of a system
Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
Experience with Agile & DevSecOps methodologies
Experience with configuration management and automation tools like Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, Octopus, Chef, Salt, etc.
Proven experience in delivering architecture strategies
Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, Hadoop, Neo4j etc.
Excellent English verbal and written communication with C-Level customers
Willingness to travel on business.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Deep knowledge on technical architecture spanning across all aspects of each system and how it can be applied in a business context
Good understanding of the latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options
Experience with any claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC)
Working knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau and understanding of analytics tools including Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Analytics, Data Lake Analytics
Experience with AI and Machine Learning tools such as Azure ML etc.
Working knowledge of design and integration of platform solutions (e.g. PowerApps, SAP, SharePoint, etc.)
Experience with programming languages (java, .net, etc.)
Microsoft Azure, GCP or AWS Cloud Certified
